Profile

T G Loganathan is the Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engg of RMK College of Engg and Technology, Tamil Nadu, India. He also leads the Composite Testing and Fabrication Centre of the Department. Prior to the present role, he was the Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and worked as a full-time researcher in the CALMERIC Team. There he supported and guided ERDC-funded projects benefitting the Small and Medium Enterprise in Wolverhampton City, UK. He started his career as Lecturer in Self- finance Engg college with a passion to groom engineering graduates and has nearly 22 years of teaching experience which includes 10 years of research experience. T G Loganathan was recognised as the Anna University PhD supervisor immediately after his doctorate and he is guiding a few in the field of Material Science (both Metals and polymer composites) as a joint supervisor. Loganathan’s research specialises in the development of novel material synthesis, destructive and NDT characterization, and product development to support industry and the common public.
